i needed a rear beaver panel for the car before i start doing bodywork and painting.
easy enough log on to ebay and buy great easy but while i was at it i got a bit excited at looking at the parts and have now just finished buying a:
braided brake hose kit
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MINI-BRAIDED-BRA ... dZViewItem
a new clutch hose
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MINI-CLUTCH-HOSE ... dZViewItem
a complete body rubber kit
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mini-rubber-kit- ... dZViewItem
o and i actually got the beaver panel aswell which is strange i never seem to buy what im looking for.
if anyone has used any of the above products please let me know how good/ bad they are. now i just got to tell the boss aka my mum that i just spend all my savings in two days  but i did buy all the paints and primers and stuff to paint the car with too so she cant complain to much can she?
regards
smillie

Doesn`t help... Just makes you not forget the things you forgot (erm...?) to buy.
I ran several times with a list to a big Mini-jumble.
And bought only things NOT marked on that list :D

Don`t worry!

Cheers,
Jan

Yerp, it's part and parcel of being a Mini Nut. I went to look at a dog for my mate once at this kennel... I left with a 998cc Clubman wreck...

Maybe we should start an addiction help group or something..

i too have a problem, but atleast im fixing pieces of history and not throwing it all away on the pokies. amen
get your beaver panel from carcraft. its where 90% of mini retailers buy their stuff from, so cut out the middleman if you want to

I keep buying stuff I know I will need or think I will need or I think is a good idea at the time and as the car is not finished I store all this IN the car. The result is the car is full. I forget what I have bought and buy it again or I can't find it when I want it

When I do get the car finished I know I'll have a heap of stuff to sell

I know how you feel. I love buying new parts. I'm going to the swap meet in brissie on sunday BUT I'm not in the market for anything, just like the year before and the year before that. I always come home with at least something. (Came home with about 7 or 8 things last time!)

I know how you feel.

I couldnt help myself on the weekend, I picked up one of those BINI model cars that opens up and has the little city thing inside, another Mini added to the Mini toy collection.

I too am an miniaddict,

I make a list of things i need and forget to take the list, then try and remember what was on the list…and well it just gets extended from there. The guys behind the counter must get frustrated and then have a good laugh afterwards, i hope.
Worst thing is when i get home and have alook at my list, i then realise then i didn't get anything that i realy needed.
