Has anyone driven around without a Bonnet.

I did today as I just completed replacing the head gasket and everything that goes with it and took it over to doc's to put a pulsar dizzy in...I then had to pick up a new cap for the Dizzy and drove to the Auto shop...Boy did I get a few looks and what fun. Yer Yer I know if the cops saw me I'd be pinned but what fun

I have done it before around the block a few times after getting the engine back in... i couldnt wait to put the bonnet on. apart from that nothing. I have driven around the block with no windscreens while i was replacing the headlining- I absolutely loved the induction roar but above 60km/h you would need goggles to drive comfortably.

Mikey was driving round without his front on when I was in Adelaide... only round the streets infront of his place. Pretty funny!

I did that years ago in my 'full sik' Torana. It was mad to see the mighty V8 while driving it

I must admit that it felt weird. I only went around the block.

I can't believe you went so far mate!

My mate and i a while ago drove his celica around with no bonnet except i was on the engine doing the throttle by hand cause we had just put a twincam in and it didn;t have a throttle cable yet lol. Probably not the smartest thing to do considering we were going about 8okm/h
