Yah - thats where I got the picture and discription from - looks a handy online store to know about too . Except it is a Smiths part not Lucas

The Aussie Morris 1100 had these switches till about 67. They are the oil filter light. When the oil filter blocks it opens the bypass passage and turns on the light. They usually leak from the O-ring underneath them. |
