Anybody used the following, plugs into the standard dizzy. Change over the button and redo the timing, presto, electronic ignition.

Thats all my Petronix kit is, mount the module to the base plate, fit a magnetic pickup on the shaft, refit the button. All done. 2 wires to pos/neg on coil.

8) , I thought there was more to it. This one just requires the module to be fitted along with the button that comes as part of the kit.

Nope, it dosnt get any easier! Its just a magnetic pickup on the shaft, and the module which amplifies the magnetic pulse into a square wave of some sort, then this supplys a gnd to the coil to discharge it, to generate the back EMF into the secondary winding of the coil to generate HT.
