I have decided on the tacho to get, but what i am after is a spot to mount it. I am thinking that it will go in the little open part of the dash between the gauges and the a piller (clubby owners will recognise this as the spot that their phones usually go....

can anyone think of somewhere else to mount it, as its drastically out of sight there. everywhere else just looks crudskies. pics would help also

thanks a zillion
chris

Chris, can you give us photos of your dash, and the gauge you chose, then we can help a bit better.

My clubbie had a centre speedo....previous owner did some odd mods.

I mounted my tacho like this -

Tacho was pure rice...as was the 4" cannon and purple furred back seat.

I have mine hanging from the top rim of the parcel shelf above the steering wheel, so i only need to look down to see it.

It's small and simple, so it doesn't get in the way or look silly.

thats the tacho, and the dash is just a standard 3 pod clubby instrument cluster, and it has a standard radio unit.

Chris,

I have 3 guages in my clubbie (its a 3 cluster like yours)
I have 2 in the radio housing thing (removed the speaker) and on on the right (to the right of the original tacho)
That one is MOST visible... and there is heaps of room.

Peter

I dont have the tacho there, I have another guage there... but I look ALL the time (just think blown welsch plugs hehe)

Its mounted on an angle facing driver and tilted up a little... just glance down and you can see it clearly.
I would keep it as far to the right as possible...

Peter.

PS: All of mine will be coming out soon... and ill be mounting the aftermarket tacho there (exactly where the other guage is)
