A+ block bored .094" (94 thou) Hypertec 94 thou pistons Hastings piston rings AEG521 Cooper S conrods - lightened and balanced A+ crankshaft offset ground (Stroked - 84mm) , wedged, lightened and balanced Lightened single-piece flywheel Cooper S backing plate - lightened Borg & Beck orange dot friction plate AP Racing riveted clutch pressure plate Central oil pickup Full synchro A+ rod change gearbox Straight cut 1:1 drop gears Cooper S 3.44:1 ratio differential Tran-X diff centre Rollmaster adjustable double row timing chain Full ARP bolt, stud and nut kit (rods & head) 45DCOE Weber on GR 5.5" manifold And probably a few other bits. So the cc will be a touch over 1410cc, and compression a bit over 11:1. |

18 months later and it's sitting in the shed waiting for its owner to get another startup... in the new body that is back from the paint shop! Soon... soon. PS This is the engine that I got an ET of 14.8 @ WSID. Definitely need to look at getting an LSD for it - wheelspin in 3rd wasn't enjoyable. |
