since i had my car damaged at the train station, my "chrome" side trim is busted. i'm going to put my flares back on as did not sell them with the shell i ahve just sold.

i was just thinking how am i going to stick these back on, i don't want to muck around with the chrome trims again. what with the heating at the bending and the not fitting properly over the flares and the horrible looking double sided tape...

i know that the sportspack arches have a black rubber trim that goes between the arches, do you think it is possible to get a similar type of thing and use rubber instead of plastic chrome? could be a bit different, what do you think it would look like? i think, not so bad.

if i did this, how would i stick them on? some kind of clip? glue? (shudder) double sided tape?
