The speedo stopped working today coming out of Kersbrook.Figured it was just a broken cable so I got a new one on the way home.Wasn't the cable. When I took the speedo out I found it had seized up.I've managed to disassemble it ,free it up and put it back together.
Whats the chances its going to work properly ?.It does turn using a drill but seems a little sticky when it zeros. The end of the shaft where the cable goes into has also broken to some extent.
I really don't want to search for another one, it took long enough to get this one and I don't like my chances of just getting the right gear and shaft.

Take it to someone who knows about instruments or grab another.
