Terrific stuff.....Doug is one dedicated dude...to take two Minis from Tumut to Brisbane for the Muster is an indication of his commitment :D

Sorry dont know the fellow myself but at first glance he obviously likes his angle grinder. Or rather , he likes Minis that have been taken to with one.

Hmmmm..........probably a totally unecessary observation as Doug has bought most of the Minis he has...if you are specifically talking about the flip-front and the Mini Prime Mover....if enthusiasts like Doug didn't buy em...they would probably end up at the scrappers.

I think Doug did the woodwork in the vans....beautiful work when you see em up close.

It wasn't a criticism, and I obviously didn't see his entire collection.
Nothing wrong with rescuing all and sundry from the scrap heap. More power to him.

Doug enjoys collecting Minis of all types. I don't believe he would cut up a full car but if a modified one comes up for sale he would rather it be in his collection than yours ;)

Mike - I do believe that Doug took up his truck, convertible and the ute which is three cars in total. And yea the wood work is superb but nothing short of what you would expect from a builder with over 31 years experience.

I think he should change the intro from Mini Minor though.

Makka, I will get you a photo of the truck with its trailer. IT is in the style of a logging trailer and has a special permit for road use on special events.
