Good to see another Ausie Mini in the latest (in Aus - July issue) Mini World Magazine. Like that Supercharged goer. well done Ben! As quoted "The Noise, the whine, the wheelspin - its all good!" Sorta sums it up nicely. |

It was my favourite one in the whole mag (I have read it cover to cover). Well done Ben and glad to see the ausmini.com sticker on the rear window. |

Well done Ben and glad to see the ausmini.com sticker on the rear window. Same here, that American car was just screwed up again, they have a knack of wrecking their minis and turning them into over the top bling mobiles to compete with the ricers over there... ![]() Blue car... mad car ![]() O and I want an AusMini sticker tooo! Where do ya get em? |

I thought the cover car, the Vtec mini (American) was done in good taste and not overtop blinged out stuff. There was beautiful 65 Cooper S built in the USA. I thought the USA cars were really good in this issue. I bought this issue, I usually don't buy Miniworld as it's the same old UK stuff over and over, eg. 1380 Rover with 13 inch wheels. I could only spot 1 over the top USA car, but more than a couple over the top UK cars. Oh and yeah the Aussie car was good too ![]() Back to the Vtec van. That thing is awesome IMO. Imagine the acceleration...mmmmm |

4 Coopers in the classic section near the back. Although, they were Canadian, still. It's 'America'....Sorta...haha. I think you'll find that there are more non-A-series mini in UK than anywhere else in the world. Vtec are popular over there due to a particular mini shop building them. What's wrong with having a fast mini? 75hp atws keeps up wioth traffic, but pull up to anything built in the last 20 years and the little beast doesn't stand a chance. Appart from the handling department....no one gonna beat a mini there! Cush, you just wish you car was as nice as mine. ![]() ![]() |

Oh and did you see the new mini wanna-be.... Now that was over done, ugly and hideous. But then again there's a picture of the owner, so the style of the car is explained there. That is rice. |

HAHA soooo tru, that is one of the worst ones i've seen... Nothing wrong with a fast car, I just like to let the car speak for itself as a classic. There's a point where its no longer a 'mini' if you get what I mean. If you want a fast car go buy the car the engine was in and do the mods to that... Id rather people admire it for that then "oooo look at those huge wheels and engine conversion' and the occasional 'what the hell is it?' ![]() ![]() I like them and if I was ever offered one I'd sure as hell take it! ![]() Not every UK cover car needs a vtec or some other engine or massive body mods to make the cover tho... |

Unfortunately, for Miniworld it seems that they do. I stopped buying them for this reason, or more specifically, bike engined minis. It was cool for the first one I saw in the magazine. A Z cars one, then another 20, come one, after the first few when they are the same but painted a differet colour it's no longer worth a read. The best cover car I've seen on them was the blue 8port Clubman, which was for sale. WHy would you spend all that, go that far and sell it? I'll never know, but it was an awesome car, and a good read. Althought all my old miniworld's are missing their front and back covers and mostly fallen appart so I can't really tell. Oh yeah and the 1380 Rover, with 13x7 wheels, sports pack archs, painted tahiti blue. They have an obsession with '1380' over there, ![]() |
