I was looking through some magazines at home and found, in Fast Fours & Rotaries July/August 1992 issue, an article on two minis The first is a '63 morris 850 that runs a 1293cc Cooper S Mk I motor with a s82 supercharger this car is red with the number plate QIK-850 The second is a '69 Mini 'hatch' with a 1380cc Morris block and a KAd twin cam,16-valve, this car is green with a white roof and the number plate 291-ply. has anyone seen this article before. Two very nice minis! |

QIK850 went on to be turbo'd and ran a 12.6 quarter mile at willowbank in 1999 Jamboree. Apparently was wrecked a short while later after the owner had a happening on the road near Tenterfield. Was a sweet piece of machinery. RIP. |
