Where is the best place to buy Mini World Magazine or any other mini related magazine. Are there any other magazines out other that TME. Im in SW Sydney or CBD. |

Hi Mick, I agree with Pete about TME but I do buy the Pommy mags as they do have some good tech articals, my newsagent in Camden gets all three mags as soon as they come out, 2 Pommy ones and the TME, their in Argyle St if you want to come for a trip to lovely Camden.....

The poms get pretty repetitive in their mags, mayfair this, rust that, big stereo whatever... I've got all my ones from late 93 to 2002. I should really sell them or something to someone else. |

one of the best thing about TME is that it is local (and therefor emore relevant) but also its fresh. like stated above, its good not to read about rust this, big stereo that... watto, you are on to a cracker

Thats what im after being new to the mini scene. ideas and stuff. IMO TME is to historical and not enough techincal, i like pictures
What are the two pommy titles, i only know of Mini World Magazine. Toast |

Yeah, TME is the one to get for the local minis and the great articles. Also good to see the old fellows get skull dragged out from under the carpet to spruik their crusty old mini yarns. I will go through my collection, I've already got some enquiries so will deal with them on a first come first serve kinda deal. But leave me for a bit, and I'll be able to come up with a definitive list. I'll try and pass them off to fill gaps in peoples collections, but will also try to do chronological blocks as well. Not to steal the thread, but what are the old mags worth? I'm not looking to gouge anyone, but a coupla bucks for skull dragging them around the country for so long would be nice (3 bucks? 4? 1? Maybe a stick of bubble gum? An old dead cat?). I don't really deal with mags very often, and it can fund the rusty cooper project a little bit. |

I usually pay 2 or 3 bucks per mag. If they are MINT condition, they could be worth another dollar or so. Postage per mag is usually $3. A box of magazines (more than 25) costs around $20 to post. The illusive first/second/third or anniversary issues are the only ones that seem to get better money. |
