Hey All Does anyone know if legally (on a registed car) you can run the brake lines inside the car? and what about fuel lines if with the appropriate hoses?? Cheers |

why would you want to run them inside rather than outside under the skid plates? |

Not uncommon to run them inside in a rally car so that they don't get ripped off or squashed on rocks. Just make sure they are covered so that they can't get squashed when you through something heavy in the car. Not sure in about Australia, but some countries do require that the fuel line be "double walled" when run inside the cabin. For example, run a piece of garden hose through the cabin of the car so that both ends are outside the cabin then run the fuel line inside the hose - this is so that if the fuel line leaks then the cabin won't fill up with petrol. |

Yeah I was thinking the same, will have to check out with VICROADS, as teh car has to be engineered anyway! Reason - it will basically be a registed racecar! with all sort of events in mind! I wld rather not have anything under the car! |

Hondas (integra etc) run their fuel lines in the cabin. Nasty when they leak. |
