Hey all this is my mini and i have to sell it unfortunately. The only problem is i dont know how much i should sell it for? I took it to the mini garage down in hobart, tassie and asked how much they reckon its worth. they said $3500. so i dont know, any help would be kindly accepted.

cheers luke

It's a standard yellow devil, 1978 leyland mini van. With a 998cc engine
I purchased it in december 2005 and since then its been garaged ever since and been taken out for when i needed to get my L's hours up. so its done less then 50 hours since then. there is rust holes but i have prevented it from rusting any more untill soem one has the money and time to care for the beast.(anti-rust,bog, primer, the exhaust valves got replaced the other day as well as the head gasket. New brakes worth $700 which included brake shoes, new cylinders and all drums machined. registration ends end of march 2008. it has a $250 cd player and i made a dash for it. All in all it has been a very reliable car as well its it cant be broken into haha soem one tried and was unsuccessful when my bro owned it and a second tiem the mini garage lost the keys and they tried every key they could to get it going haha =P <br> Image

<Mod edit> I made the picture links work :D :(

I may be a little out of touch with prices but I think the $3,500 they suggested sounds about right . It all depends , how quickly do you need to sell it ? If you need it sold fast then start at that and be prepared to accept a little less . If not then start higher and you can always come down if it doesn't sell . How much were you thinking it was worth ?

I woulda said $4.5K

Vans are getting harder to find and more people want them. For a fairly decent condition standard clubby van, $4-5K is being seen these days.

Cheers

Matt
