came out of school today to find someone has so kindly thrown their milkshake all over my mini. just wondering if this would do anything permanent to the paint, and the best way to get rid of any remnants of the milkshake. as a result, the mini (my daily) will no longer be driven to school.

I don't mind driving my Mini as a daily, but there's no chance in hell i would have driven it to school back in the day.

Just thank your stars it wasn't Coke or some other fizzy drink. When I was a Youth Club leader we had the group out somewhere and the guys were horsing around a bit - nothing serious - and spraying each other with Coke bottles after giving them a good shake - anyway a new Toyota Landcruiser got in the way and the driver knew some of the kids and tracked us down and the Church got hit with a $2500 bill to have the car repainted as the Coke had eaten into the paint ( well changed the colour)Lucky the public liability insurance paid for it but didn't help much with my reputation as a Leader

I must've been lucky because I drove my mini to school everyday and nothing happened to it. :? Wonder why?

Ill be driving my mini to school soon, not every single day, but a majority I hope, cruising around with friends.... I hope nothing goes bad, there are heaps of wankers around. The worse feeling is when you leave it in the carpark and go somewhere :?

I used to drive a mini to school all the time. It's always fun to sneak out along the footpaths of the schools new carpark.

I never had any problems with vandalism and the car even got voted the 'coolest car in the carpark' 8)
It may have helped that it was always parked next to a big red range rover that would of happily driven over any potential vandals.
While parked at uni a while ago however I returned to find an egg on the side of the mini I was driving.

Egg + hot day + 40 year old seals letting said egg into the door pocket = not entirely happy

But then I've also driven an old Peugeot that someone thought it was a good idea to bend the aerial straight down so its not only minis that are targeted by these ****wits.

Cheers
