Hi all,
Stuck at home sick today I came across an episode of Scrapheap Challenge that featured "Bath Wars"
It was based on prototypes created by small groups of people of household items to race.
One was a sofa and dinig table, the other was a bath tub and one was a pool table.
I am trying to locate this particular episode to download as the pool table team created their running gear out of a 42 year old mini.
It was sad to see it cut up but interesting to see how the pool table was created and won the race.
If anyone knows where I can get it or has downloaded a Scrapheap Challenge torrent of the season with it in it, please let me know. All the Austar info said was it was the Roadshow episode.

Seems this episode has more surprises, another item for the race is a 4 post bed that was built on top of an 850 Matic subframe and running gear....
I think I'm going to have to invest in a set top box with a big hard drive in it.

On Sunday 11th June 2006 Scrapheap Challenge took the National Motor museum by storm when it staged the world's first sofa speedway.

Sixteen teams drove their own home-built motorized furniture. Fishtank, dinner tables, beds, kitchens, bathrooms and even pool tables raced frantically around a course plagued with hazards including chicaines, width restrictors and even a skidpan.

A fantastic day out was had by all and if you want to see what happened look out for the programme at the end of this year.
