Just as I put the finishing touches on the Moke for registration all the cheap workarounds start packing it in

Today my 6.1 month old (6 month warranty) $19 supercheap battery collapsed

So its a one more tyre for the spare and a new battery and its the registration lucky dip next week for me

You bought a $19 battery and got six months out of it? That's pretty good considering you've hardly driven the car. Batteries ted to die with lack of use.

I had a car battery drop a plate the day we were trading that car in once!! It would not even jump-start. It was an odd sized battery so I could not find a second-hand one anywhere. So I had to buy a new one. That hurt, spending $110 on a battery you would only own for a few hours. :x

1) Go to Supercrap, buy another $19 battery.
2) Go back to Supercrap with your first battery and return it using the receipt from the second battery.
3) Don't forget to tell us how it goes.

Also remember to carefully peel the sticker with the date off the new battery & place on the other "new" battery

Not that I endorse this sort of thing...

Done - but I added another.

I took the old battery back with the new receipt then I took the new battery back and got a refund without a receipt - then I bought a decent battery for an extra $20 -
