I bought a replacement internal door handle spring to stop my door handle drooping. Is it going to be a nightmare to change?

I did both of mine, but i did it when both doors were completely stripped. I dont think id like to try n remove the lock with the glass n stuff in place. Its a bit tight. Its pretty straight forward though.

Can you buy the springs for sliding window doors? And from where??

I bought it from minispares in SA. It cost about $13- plus 50c postage I think. You can order on line or give them a call. I dont know about sliding windows. After I bought it I think soemone else had them cheaper but I dont know who because I didn't need any more. I might wait until I fix the hinges and do it when the door is off.
