Model, colour and numberplate .. I wouldn't recommend putting vin/engine numbers online.

Number plates and descriptions would be preferrable to engine/body numbers as a matter of privacy to new/current owners .

I have been doing a register of morris 850's members have (and some from ebay etc) for the pruposes of working out build dates ( http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16639 ) , if you send me the details of the 850's (body/engine numbers , not rego plates) I can tell you if they are currently owned by members and will ask the member if they are OK with you knowing who has the car now . the whole deal of the register has been that no details will be given out so I can't tell you who (if anyone) now owns one of your previous 850's without consulting them .

I know my old number plate from the 1960's is available for reissue at $375 - trouble is it's Victorian and I'm now in Qld so couldn't use it - It'll have to wait till I've got no more parts to buy

i found my old minis on here

one was a turquoise gt which i think got stripped for parts (ILN-2xx), and the other was a clubby S which i was in the process of rebuilding, i think it was slated for a starlet conversion at some stage.

was a sad day when i read that about the gt.

moral of the story.. sometimes it's best not to know.

did your GT get sold to Josh aka MiniImports? if so, it's being restored in Albury ;)
