Can anyone identify this su piston and chamber from the picture and part number AUD 9633?

I'm identifying it for someone via email and can't spot if it is a 1.5, 1.75 or bigger just by the photo. Anyone know?

also, what do you reckon this speedo cable is off?

AUD9633 is off a HS2 1ΒΌ" Mini, Morris 1100 etc. (ref. Morris 1100 parts book)
I could tell from the pic that it was not a bigger carb because of the two screw lugs.

Speedo cable could be anything as the ends are all the same except for the later clip on types. The fitment depends on the length. So how long is it?

Thanks! 1050mm I am told.

The SU piston has a small nylon ring embedded in the base of the piston in the picture. This had me thrown as mine do not (or mine are just hammered flat and are black)

So you reckon the speedo cable is just a mini type and I guess the black bits are little covers over the cable ends??

I think that would be the right length for a Mini Clubman. (I am only guessing though!)

The nylon ring is a little bump stop. Most SU carbies have them (I hope!)

Yeah mine do as well, they're just hammered so flat and black that they look like they may as well be just a drilled hole!

The SU overhaul kits don't come with these, I'm doing two pairs of twin SUs out in the garage at the moment with these kits. The yalso don't include the vibration damper for the float bowl dammit...
