Post subject:  Radiator "water" is liquid carbon!!!

My radiator water has always been somewhat like liquid rust. I have cleaned it out several times... no luck, always goes back to liquid rust (in colour, texture is thicker than water also)

yesterday, my mini got a little hot... almost covering the H line for a minute or 2. (it usually runs at 3/4 on a hot day)

now... the radiator water is black, and when I let the "black water" dry on my finger, its like carbon.

that cant be good yeah?

Oil Perhaps ?

Maybe combustion fumes getting into the water ?
is it running ok ?
Sounds a bit like a head-gasket (then again, everything this week sounds like a head gasket to me !)

 I kinda expect it to be a head gasket, but it runs fine... well.... no worse than it ever has anyway  no change.
