I used to love stopping along Paramatta Road? every now and then to drool over the Flat Bed, "ute" and Gated/Tarped conversions based on Moke Califorinians for sale. I was seriously considering buying one as they just looked so neat....unfortunately my off road bike and stuff would have been a tight fit....

They were at a place near a big Louisville and used truck outlet....just past Silverwater road, going west on the left (um I think)...could have been further out...

Does anyone know if any of these survived!! Haven't found anything on the net that resembles what I saw....

I've seen some down here. I can remember one at one of the Ballarat caravan park, it was used as the maintenence vehicle.

Most Leyland dealers sold Moke utes - basically a standard moke with a trayback bolted on top at the back. There are still a few around in Vic.

Yeah, but this place had the full range and proudly sat between dealerships selling monstrous real prime movers etc....these Mokes had stacks behind the cabin's AFAIR.

They were smart pieces of kit 8)
