There were a lot of wierd and wonderful accessories produced in the mini's early years , these are a prime example .... Definitely not BMC works though .

"rare 1959 ..... BMC works" - "So the BMC works" (presumably MG works at Abingdon) has created plastic overriders to protect the bumpers of its rally minis from those annoying scratches and dents that that inevitably appeared after every tarmac stage.....and thats in 1959 when no minis were even remotely considered by the works for any competition work?
