You will never see an Aussie Clubbie with sliders. Differnt door latch and striker. They will NEVER fit. |

The door catch/strike plate is totally different, if you are realy keen you proably could graft some sliding window rails on th the clubby door ![]() ![]() |

Jed , our shells remained the basic dimensions of the Mk1 mini (windows , door openings etc) but the finer details were different , the door jamb area of the B pillar is slightly different shape in a post 71 mini (since I keep being told I can't call them clubmans ![]() |

The last however many (numbers are vague) of the mini K's had the clubman doors with clubman B pillars/burstproof locks , prior to that they had the normal windup windowed roundie doors and matching B pillars . Aussie windup roundie and sliding window doors are interchangable though slightly different but not clubman to roundie (other than late K) .... Hope that helps . |

The door frame on the sliding window doors is thicker (I think) to accomodate the two windows. Other than that it would be relatively easy to put a channel in the clubman door to put sliders in. Daniel |

Other than that it would be relatively easy to put a channel in the clubman door to put sliders in. Daniel the other reason was i was hoping to offset the cost of the car by selling the doors ![]() ![]() |

I've been considering finiding myself a damged front 850, with sliding windows, and welding a Clubman front on to fit a 4EFTE easier. Now that would be cool. Keep it all MK1 south of the firewall, ![]() ![]() It'll never happen, but It's always a future project idea, along with a hundred others...... |

They called them 'Clubmans', and they were made by 'Morris'. Am I right? |
