hey i have no clue with cars which is why i love my mini because i learn soem thing new about it as i go along with it. ok when i brought my mini off my bro a year or two back he said taht the cv joints will need replacing but i never had the money to get them replaced yet. and didnt think too much of it since i dont drive it too much but the other day as i turn the wheel i hear a creaking noise in the front is that a sign of the cv joints need replacing or another problem?its not a on n off problem because now its doing it all the time when i turn a corner. en suggestions would b helpful.

If it's a clicking sound, most likely your CVs. I would also be looking at the wheel bearings as I would bet that they're probably also in need of some love.

thanks speedy, ill get them looked at when the mini garage re opens after christmas cause the last tiem i went by there, the gates were closed

If its not driven much the creaking noise could well be the suspension needing a good grease to get it all moving properly again.

CV joints are a clicking noise going around tight corners as stated.

Wheel bearing noises (front or rear) are a whine or a drone type of noise and they are there constantly - with the throttle on or with the throttle off.

Tell the mini shop people to grease the suspension when they service or fix the mini.
