Hey people,
I feel the need for speed, once again.. :P
Looking at a midweek (ie workday) outing to Wakefield Pk sometime in January.
Cost is $40 for a licence (12 months) and $80 for the day.
Oz, 13sec, Boosted, kazjim, Mini Mad, other usual MDC suspects- are U guys in? Any other takers??

Booking days are here..
http://www.wakefieldpark.com.au/index.c ... 3146edoras

I suggest a `cars only' day is the deal, as usual. 8)

PS - for thoses that didnt know, these bearings had less than 10,000 Miles on them and after taking a left-hander at some incredible speed (new cam/new handling) the bottom end ran dry and rattled.. it drove home (300Klm) but it was absolutley rooted when i got it home...... thank god for Nitrided Cranks !

kazjim, take a look at http://www.accusump.com/
I worked on a racecar in the 80s that run one (Ford Mustang) and they work a treat.
It acts like an extra oil tank and when the supply from the pump drops the extra suppy cuts in. It only has enough oil to last for a short time but it is enough to get around a couple of corners.

OR i could just get my crap together and fit a centre oil pickup ......

BUT the engine has to come out again for that, and this is my daily driver......
Got to schedule down-time !!

its all gotta come out soon anyway, but I've got to get the alternate transport sorted and registered first......

Put an extra pint of oil in, file new FULL mark on dipstick... 8)

<edit> Rodchange is even worse for this than remote, as LH side of box is totally empty of bits, so more oil surge.
 Put a silicone boob implant in there.. 8)

Yeah I'll have the suicide seat and 5 point harness installed for any takers. BUT REMEMBER, the smilling team at Wakfield park still make you pay full freight just to be a passenger.
