ok, im looking into show wheels for my green beast.

i have a set of 15s here that strangely fits, losselyish too.

but they have no tires on them atm, with tyres, they will be tight fit, if they still fit.

there off a chrysler labcer, brand new rims too :?

anywho, is it possible to run 15s on a mini without cutting anything, spacers will obviously be needed, but for show only.

also found anice set of 14" wheels that tickle my fancy, how well do they fit?

cheers gang.

also any pics of 14/ 15 " wheels fitted to a mini.

keep in mind mind is jacked up due to the bodykit.

hi jamie

you may need to post some pics to see what they look like.

my first thought was they would look far too big, but then again, you need to fill the arches. i think 14 will still be too big, you will probably have tyre walls about 1cm tall...

too big me thinks

Depends if you want to be able to move it around with the wheels on , if the guards have already been cut to allow 13's and how low the suspension is . If you're just going to get the mini into position etc then swap wheels they should be alright though it might make it look like a hotwheels mini . I dread to think what super low profile 15" tyres would be worth though .

I dont see how they could possibly fit on the back....there'd have to be no tyre at all...... :?

You may be able to get them on the front, but the rear trailing arm will foul...no way you will get them on with a tyre.

You could fit Moke rear arms but it would look a little, er... strange.
And the wheels will then hit on the rear of arch I bet.

There's an easy solution to that: Ditch the trailing arm.
Modify a rear subframe to take leaf springs or coil-overs and a solid, (trailer like)
rear axle and you're almost good to go.
:D

you've gotta replace the word "worth" with "cost"... cos they ain't worth what they cost...

how about making some "tyres" out of wood, and painting them black

I dont even think they would fit the front... Well you might be able to get them on the front but you definatly wont be able to turn. I have 13 x7superlites on mine and my guards have been cut to fit the body kit so the wheels dont hit there but on full lock they actually just touch the firewall section if that makes any sense at all...

Get yourself a moke and give it a go , it'd look like a Hummer on monster rims .

Yep, Mutant has 14's, with 195/40x14 tyres that had to be brought in from Germany

You'd only need to buy one set of tyres though. So expensive German tyres would be alright for this purpose. It's a show car afterall.
