Your numbers are a 1978 1275LS.

I don't have a lot of info on the last code system used by Leyland but it came in some time during 78.

I have only decoded some of the digits and that is by guesswork.
X = ? (Minis have X, Mokes have A)
N = ? (Minis have N, Mokes have K)
F = ? (LS have F, Mini S have H, Mini have P, Vans have P, Mokes have F on Californian and P on Mokes :? ) May be trim level? (F = flash, P = poverty!!!!) :lol: :lol:
A = ? (Minis have A, Vans have F, Mokes have P) Probably body style. :?
D = 1275 (B = 998) Clearly engine code.
18 = ?
Y = Australia. :wink:
