hey guys im looking at installing a cooper s type 3 gauge dash cluster and was wondering how these are actually mounted to the car cause there don't seem to be any mounting brackets any help pics would be great. cheers dan |

There are no brackets, the binnacle is held onto the car by 6 screws through the bulkhead. There are small nuts welded to the bulkhead to accept the screws. With some help, you could always simply drill the holes and ask someone to grip the nuts while you screw them home. |

Can someone please advise what sizes the gauges are supposed to be, would it be 2", or are these too big? |

The body of the normal Smiths oil pressure and temp guages that were fitted to them measure approx 1 7/8" , the bezel on the front of the guage is approx 2 1/4" diameter so it depends on where you are measuring your guages at . I'm not sure of the holes diameter though , I'll be downstairs later and will measure one then and get back to you . |
