Are body mods needed when fitting a weber to a moke? |

Depends on the manifold. If using a gooseneck it will fit (but they are shithouse) Then there are two other lengths, I had the medium one and it just fit, the long one needs you to do some cutting and boxing in. |

No, Firewall distance from the motor is the same for all minis/mokes i think? regardless you want a redline 3005 manifold. Use this in conjunction with a ramflo filter and it will just fit ![]() |

I think that is what I have in my GT. Fits nice and snug. Doesn't hit anything. |

Looking at a moke on the weekend & if I get it I might put the 850 on hold & get the moke cleaned up (seeing as I don't have a car). I also might be able to get a 1380 engine so I might spend some of the money I put aside for the 850 |

just be wary with second hand 1380's...if/once they're worn you pretty much need a new block...or resleeve it.. |

Moke firewalls are closer. My HIF6 on stock MG Metro manifold hits the moke firewall at the bottom. There are two moke firewall types. The early one is flat and angled away. The later has a dish set into it so the big black plastic air filter housing could fit. |

ahh cool, i know on minis (roundies vs clubbies) they are the same, doesn't seem TOO much difference on the moke though..spiro's is the earlier flat type ![]() |

all I know so far: >Not Registered > Early moke with the solid non-removable grille > In primer > 200mm of rust in the floor > Running > Guy doesn't no engine size (998 is my guess) > In a shed @ his dads > No accelerator pedal > & it's cheap |

My Moke had a flat firewall. I just applied some heat and GBH with a hammer (before I painted it) to make some extra room. ![]() |

It looks like someone has applied the hammer to Kyodas moke as well. Just on the drivers side of the filter. Might just be the pic on my computer. I had a weber on my last mini and it fit with a redline manifold, but the filter was basically pushing up against the speedo. Dont know if it was the best of spots to get fresh air. |
