they're from a large journal 1275 (late 1100S), and are basically useless unless you have a large journal crank. They would suit an A+ crank, but you'd want A+ rods to go with that crank cos they're lighter (AFAIK) According to the good doctor, they're also overly heavy. not worth much I reckon |

Pretty much what Simon said. The 1100S rods can be machined and polished for lightness, but far easier to use A+ rods to begin with, with either crank (A+/LJ 1100S) according to my source (Dr Mini ![]() KB |

The big J 1100S rods weigh around 740-750g complete, with the bolts in. I just lightened a set for Gafmo's road motor by milling the lumps off the caps and linishing the little end round, and then balancing. Weight is now 650g, same as A+ ones. So they are not worthless, really. ![]() |

They arent worth much unless you have someone in need. Mate you know the guys at Northern so ask them for their price then halve it and chuck yours on fleEBay, you may even find they sell for more then you can buy them. I've seen this before and I even did some arbitrage work. |

I sold a set on Ebay in good nick with good 1310 pistons for like $30 a year ago. There's plenty of them around. BUT just get a set of A+ ones. They are cheap and much lighter. |
