i am surprised the use of arp lube changed the settings so much. |

The most accurate way is to use a bolt stretch gauge, if you have one (I don't). ARP `Cooper S' bolts & nuts (3/8 UNF) are supposed to be 50lb/ft, torqued up 3 times using the ARP molylube in the bolt kit. These ARP nuts do not have nyloc inserts- it's the `stretching' of the bolts that keeps them tight. ![]() |
