That is just the perfect thing for the farm.
Just need to mount a spotlight on the top of the windscreen frame and it will be great for roo shooting.
If you take off the boot lid the dogs will be able to jump straight in.

Looks great Mike. :D

Yes its a 1971 Mk 111, 1275 motor as standard. Been restored (recovered, is probably a better word) three years ago and stored since.

That's the strangest looking GTR I've ever seen

If i'd known, a friend is selling his concours bugeye sprite for circa $20k
Looks good though.

Kev
Yep strange GTR - they were all marching up in price and for what I paid for the midget would only get you a restoration project. Been watching toranas solidly for 18 monthes.

I wasn't allowed to spend circa $20 k. Besides, if i went for a bugeye of anykind it would have to have a 1275, discs and whole lot more. Defeats the purpose of having a concours one

You know, I think the very first midget came out roughly the same year, not that shape though - more like a trimmed down TC. Might have been called the TA?

In '71, mike was just back from a spell in the orient courtesy of the govt, so it's a fair bet he outdates it considerably. :D

I was invited in the 1st call-up, but failed the medical. Thanks to recently being in a Mini that got wrapped round a tree... :D
