This is an appeal for old car shells that has been released at my workplace. I have contacted Peter and he has indicated that he is happy to hear from anyone in the greater Adelade area who could assist with donations of unwanted car bodies. Pter has authorised me to release his contact details publicly. Please spread the word.

Thanks for reading.
Cheers Dat

The details of the appeal are as follows...

 Peter Mason, District Officer – Training, SA MFS is appealing for assistance from you or anyone you may know who could donate any old cars to them for training.

The Metropolitan Fire Service still regularly holds vehicle rescue training at Angle Park, and when training a new group of Fireman they require 65 + cars to effectively qualify the new recruits. Vehicles have become hard to come by in recent years so any donations of old vehicles would be greatly appreciated.

The MFS will collect the vehicles in most instances, and they don’t need to have wheels or seats and they can be dented, although if the vehicle has no wheels, please advise prior to collection of the vehicle.

Peter’s contact details are as follows:
Peter Mason, G.I. Fire E District Officer – Training, SA MFS
P: 8243 6501
F: 8243 6590
E: [email protected]

If you are able to assist, please contact Peter directly.
