Following on from the Ausmini play doh and song writing competition's it's time for another one . This time it's a mini art comp , four classes - Clubman , Round nose , Moke and Variant (variant winner will have a choice between clubman , roundnose and moke print) . They are to be drawn onto an A4 piece of paper and scanned or photographed for judging . The judging will be done by ausmini members at the end of the competition , each contribution will be shown in a thread for each of the four classes and a poll attached for members to choose a winner . Entries can be produced in any media (pencil , pen , pastel's , crayon , finger dipped in oil etc) but must be done by hand , no computer artwork or copied prints . For clubman and round nose the choice is yours as to whether you do sedan , van or pickup .

Prizes will be announced in a few days but since this is an art comp the prizes will be A3 sized copies of the front page of mini and moke sales materials , I'll post pictures once I've chosen them and had them printed on the best quality paper (photo or archive hopefully , still chasing the best options from local printers) . There will be one A3 print per class and also one organisers (me :D ) choice award . As with the play doh comp , the winning entries are to be sent to me and will be framed and added to my collection here .

Entries close/must be posted in here by Midnight EST Saturday the 8th of September .

NOW WITH PRIZES .....

Below is a picture of the prizes , they are printed on a light card material and look brilliant (if I do say so myself :D ) They are direct copies of original Australian sales brochures enlarged to A3 size and have all flaws etc from the originals (adds character I think    ) These will look great framed (A3 frames available from "the warehouse" , "reject shop" etc quite reasonably) in home or garage . So if you want to be in the running for these , start drawing . One per category (moke for moke , clubbie for clubbie , roundie for roundie , winners choice for variant and winners choice of remaining two for organisers choice .) and ausmini members will decide the winner .

By the way , this will be a sticky here for the duration of the comp then set free ...

Actually I'll limit it to 2 entries per category per person so you'll have the option of doing a serious and a carriacture entry of each/whatever you want . There will only be one prize per category though plus one organisers choice from all of them .

Nah, he could draw. He just chose to draw weird!

I'm talking when you draw a Mini Van and your wife thinks it's a Kombi.
