My wife has done that a number of times. I now have the Electric fuel pump on the Rear seat wall...She now knows the sound it makes when no fuel is reaching the Pump ![]() |

Serves ya right willy. ![]() So now you know, after running your tank dry, turn the ignition on for 10 seconds before you start it. Cmon, its a mini..... you should expect the gauges to be incorrect. 1/2 full = fill up time. If you get a facet fuel pump, you'll never need to turn your stereo on again ![]() |

A hint with electric pumps... Keep your mechanical, and wire the electric into a switch. Turn the pump on when ya go to start the car (leave it going for a bit), then turn it off once the car is running. It's even better for a car that doesn't get driven much! |
