So the platinum inside my catalytic converter is shot and now it just rattles around as i drive - PITA. ![]() How are the catalytic converters made? Could i unscrew it, open it up, get the crap out then seal it up again and Bob's your uncle? If i can't open it, can i get the crap out some other way? Cheers in advance! een. |

or take it out and chuck it and put some straight through pipe in instead. You can take them apart and take out the honeycomb or buy a new refill |
