ok, here's the story. I have 4 wheel drums that need to be overhauled/replaced. my question is, is there a differance between front and rear drums and shoes etc. as i wanna keep the drums.

Drums front and rear are the same. 2 types- flat or with 1" spacer.
front shoes are 1/4" wider on all (twin leading shoes) except Morris 850 (which had single leading shoes).

Save your $$ and buy front discs instead. The rears do SFA really.

just way up the costs of discs compared to buying all new stuff for your drums...
some times it is false economy to continue playing with drums.

Ah, they DO do something Doc!!!! Lock up hahaha, boy we gotta sort my rears out mate, call me when you have time off...

Mr A series, new rotors, shoes, wedges, springs, slave cylinders, hoses... yeah, you see the point, they add up. Look for some discs and you wont regret it.

Pete.
