Main window glass goes in first , diagonallyish (you'll figure it out , there's really only one way it can go) from the outside from memory and then the 1/4 vents .

The main trap for young players is to avoid scratching your nice new paintwork at the inside top of the door frame when inserting the 1/4 vent assembly. Wise to put some quack tape on first. :!:

If possible it would be good to have an assembled door around for reference of which way around the wind up mechanism fits.

I've done this myself and there was a lot of swearing, cursing and blood and then I found out the mechanism had gone in with a joint in the winding mechanism bent the wrong way. This was followed by a lot more swearing, cursing and blood and made my wife go inside and lock me out  (there was a fair deal of swearing and cursing at a bit of volume).

Use lots of masking tape around the top of the door panel, inside and out and around the chrome or paint at the top of the window frame where the 1/4 window frame will eventually sit...
