Main window glass goes in first , diagonallyish (you'll figure it out , there's really only one way it can go) from the outside from memory and then the 1/4 vents . |

The main trap for young players is to avoid scratching your nice new paintwork at the inside top of the door frame when inserting the 1/4 vent assembly. Wise to put some quack tape on first. ![]() |

If possible it would be good to have an assembled door around for reference of which way around the wind up mechanism fits. I've done this myself and there was a lot of swearing, cursing and blood and then I found out the mechanism had gone in with a joint in the winding mechanism bent the wrong way. This was followed by a lot more swearing, cursing and blood and made my wife go inside and lock me out ![]() Use lots of masking tape around the top of the door panel, inside and out and around the chrome or paint at the top of the window frame where the 1/4 window frame will eventually sit... |
