I don't think Lukey have been made for many years. Max Sherry told me he bought the last Mini exhausts when they stopped making them.

go to an exhaust place and get them to make up your exhaust... I find the whole "buying pieces of exhaust and putting it together" very strange, I take the car to the exhaust bloke, tell him what I want, and drive out with it done.

no, not really thom. It'll run about $200ish (plus Exhaust manifold) for them to taylor one up. I have mine done up the road up here. The guy rolls his eyes each time i come in to have a new one done, but at the end of it he always says he enjoys making up a custom system( a simple one at that) rather than fitting pre bent pipes which they do day in day out. Any exhaust place will do it, but look for one with an old bloke working and you will get a good job. YOung blokes just wants the fully bling cooffee caan carrrs maaate!

Cheers
Aaron

awesome thanks aaron! where's your guy cause that'd be local for me!
how is the traveller going? did you end up choosing to fix it?
also what sort of extractors would you recommend?

I used Parramatta Exhaust Centre, in Barney St, Nth Parramatta.
Cost me $143 for my 2" system- offset muffler, 2 pipes and 4 clamps. I took it home and bolted it up. 8)
GR gets some stuff done there too.

Thanks kev! parramatta is nice and close so that could be a good option! did you just get them to look at the car and work out where your exit would be and then they gave you the pipes or did they fabricate it for you?
cheers,

just seconding wat the doc said, 2 weeks ago i took my LS to parramatta exhaust and talked to michael and he was really competitive with his price for the parts (i had to fit it up but everyone no's that isnt really to difficult) but most of all he was extremely helpful and was genuienly interested to hearing it as he asked me to bring the car in once complete. really good service

Is an RC40 not a better option?

Personally I'd go the RC40 - stood the test of time

For Thom's turbo i think anything 2"+ and straight through will be good though :)

I crawled under the car at home and measured up what I wanted, pipe lengths, angles etc.
I made it a 2" system because the 1-3/4" pipe & RC40 I had was a bit too small for max power with the worked over 1360 and RE282 cam.
But for most road Minis, an RC40 is great.
