Why is it I'm told by people that a RH Tank is only worth $250, yet on ebay they go for 400+ and the shops want 500+???????? Where does the bulls#$t start and stop? |

They are worth whatever you can get. Last one I bought was $100 but that was 10 years ago! They were only fitted to S and Clubman GT, and they stopped fitting them here in 1972, that's 32 years ago.. so not exactly common any more. I think M-Machine still make them in UK, but by the time you got it shipped here...$$$!

ebay is a great place...to sell! It's probably a case of who you know, not what you know. Someone in the know would be able to get one cheap. |

Last year I got a RH tank for $300 which I didn't think was too bad. I got it of someone who knew someone else who knew this offer person...you know the usually story. |

i got mine of ebay a year ago for $200, perfect nick, also had the strap. selling for $800 now

So they cost between 100-800 sounds like what I've been told but still a little grey. I'll have to try make my own. |

i paid $275 2 years ago (with strap) then another $222 to get it fitted ($497 all up) but then i got 1 about 5 years ago for nothing! then i gave it to my dad (cos i didnt have a mini at the time) he keeps rubbing it in to this day!
