what do you reckon the top speed of my mini is?

i've got a 1965 morris 850 and its got a 998 in it, with 1100 head (smog item).
its got a performance air filter and 1 1/4" SU.
also has 2" racing exhaust with no mufflers.

just wondering what you think my top speed would be thanks bye.

If you were to air freight it on a Jumbo Jet I reckon you could get it to 900km/h!

I'm just wondering how many versions of that thing there are on youtube . From memory (of willy's vids) his mini hasn't got brakes good enough to do wheelies like that .

I know the top speed I got out of my LS at the end of the main straight at Phillip Island was 155kp/h...

Of course the engine has been worked over a bit and is slightly bigger than 998cc now..

i got up to 140 but i don't think mine will go much faster than that.
had to beat an uppity commodore, silly bastard shoulda seen the look on his face when he took me after the overtaking lane when i was cruising at 90.

mines a 1100 with kad quickshift but that's all, except for the sick rims

I have a 998 thats standard apart from extractors and I got 82 MPH which is about 130 km/hr
the whole car was shaking by that point so i thought I'd better back off, but if you are willing to rev it a bit higher you could probably get it a bit higher...

did you get another mini willy?

in my experience you cant expect more than about 140kph from a smallblock, downhill with a favorable wind condition.
You can hit that on old norton summit road on the straight bit down the bottom.

140 with a 998, 1"1/2 and 155 with a rover cooper 1275 1"3/4. The 1275 WILL clock 160 (the speedo) when I summon the currage
As said eirler the 998 just shakes, dose that mean I have a 998 "shaker"
