A moke, lots less chopping involved as half of it was missing from the factory already.

Ditto the Pruis. I definitely wouldn't hack a traveller, and would only do a van if un repairable. :D

Finding one with a heavily dented roof at the back end would be best.

But Steve's is already done, no grinding involved.

Check with Qship on here , he bought a half converted van I had here (I bought it already chopped) and has since sold it on to someone else . He might be able to put you in touch with the new owner to see if they are finishing it or it's stalled . Also PM skssgn as a friend of his has a half cut down van as well that he's getting rust repair panels off . Be better tio get one that someones started than to cut another van if you can .

if you found a traveller, and started cutting it, I'd personally cut your testicles off, but since you're not going to be able to find one, you're safe.... besides, a van would be stronger, and the payload wouldn't have a dirty great hole in it for the spare wheel, nor would it have mountings for rear seats and the the front half of the floor missing

Plenty of converted vans getting around these days - the one I got bits off is rooted, not good for anything, not even a pattern cos it was a crap job to start with. If I ever did one, I'd make it a king cab, and I'd make sure I made the tailgate vertical, they look silly otherwise

The main thing I think you should get right is the back wall thats where you see the shoddy work, apart from that I know nothing

cush, ive given up on the sr-20, im thinking im gonna go a b16a1 vtec turbo instead. i don't think anyone's turbo'd a vtec as yet.
(if i'm not mistaken, wouldn't that act as a double boost?)
whats a king cab?
is that the one Ian was talking about skssgn?
how else would it be a ute if the tailgate wasnt vertical, do they leave the old boot on? :?
i kinda want a shell to do it myself with my step-brother, altho i wouldnt mind it already done waiting for the engine. do you guys know what condition steve's is in?
