Hi I was replacing the thermostat, I pulled of the radiator top bracket as you have to ...put it all back together...and what do you know the shroud is scrapping on the fan. There is a missing nut in the middle of the radiator at the back where the 2 pieces meet but of course you cant get in there to do anything. Any suggestions?.....

Thanks in advance

They are made of thin sheet metal, you may have bent it when forcing it back in. Try removing it or simply rebending it as best you can in situ.

Perseverance. It's a self-tapping screw with a small hex head. You can replace it in situ with a small spanner, skinned knuckles and lots of patience.
