Would someone who is going to be on the Wollongong run be prepared to have a look at a mini to tell me what they think I should sell it for. I have no idea and someone has asked me what price I want for it.

Makka, It is a clubman and very straight. It has from what I can see some small spots of rust under the paint and one big hole on the scuttle which would be a doddle to fix. It will have both left and right tanks in it, and everything form the rear doors back less the mechanicals. The rear subframe will be in it also. What I am doing is stripping it for all the parts for my van shell which has nothing in it so the car shell will finish up minus everything I need for the van. The floor has no holes at all. I just have no idea what it is worth and don't want to start trying to sell it at an unrealistic price.

Unfortunatly unless the shell has anything of worth in it, it will be worth buggerall, having the tanks in it will make it worth just a fraction more than the tanks. you might be able to sell it for 300-500. Dependant on how much people what to buy the tanks for. Clubman shells are pretty common and people buy them for less than a 100.

I would suggest you put it on ebay and let the market decide. Just my thought's.

Cheers

Thanks Aaron. I really don't want to get involved in ebay. I have heard of to many attempted scams. I just do not like the whole idea of buying or selling through these online auctions. I guess I am just an old fogie where this stuff is concerned.

No worries mate, i am sure you will be able to get a good price for the shell elsewhere, go the Tradingpost, carsale(online) and here. I'd start at 800 and let them talk you down.

Cheers
Aaron
