Hello All,

I am a new member of this website but I remember reading many months ago that someone on this site posted a detailed description of how to drop the front subframe out of a mini (with the engine still in).

I can't for the life of me find that post and my hardcopy disappeard when I cleaned out my shed.

Could someone point me to the post that tells me how to drop the front subframe out and if not, could someone post again the details of what I need to do.

Jack the car up. Support the body on stands. Place a piece of timber under the subframe and stick a jack under it. Undo the 4 top tower bolts/studs. Undo the 4 floor subframe bolts. Undo the 2 front lower subframe bolts.

Undo all the other crap thats connected to the engine. Then lower the jack.

Out pops a front subframe.
