Whats the difference between an original roundnose, and a newer model Rover ?

I know the grill is different, but what else ?

Is there a difference between a standard bonnet & a Rover bonnet ?

Is there anything else that was changed ?

Can an oldskool grill be fitted to a rover with minimum modifications ?

Can the pop-out style rear windows be fitted with minimum mods ?

The rover bonnet has an extra lip out the front to take the top trim that fits into the grille , the hinges are in the same position as a clubman (different to a roundie) so you can't swap bonnets easily but you can cut off the lip .

No idea on the rest but someone else should know .

Rear window is bigger, as are rear side windows.
Doors internally hinged, amd opening is bigger.
Subframes were rubber mounted, not directly mounted to body.
Classic grille will fit.

They're the main body differences.
:D

Maxi

Have you collected your car yet? I have been talking to Steve about getting a fuel tank and would like to ask if you could bring it with you back to the coast
