I dont mean to be insulting, but have you removed the lock washer. I just took my fly wheel off tonight. It was the first time i have done this and at first had no luck because i didnt remove the lock washer  Once removed it popped straight off :D

how hard did you hit it with the bfh? (some people would advise against this)

Seems to be a lot of people having the same hassle as you at the moment.

Let's assume you are using a fly wheel puller - if not, there's one in the 'How To' section of this forum.

You've already used a 'ton' of wd40 so just don't lose patience with it - tighten up the puller then give the fly wheel a 'whack' with a soft hammer (or hammer and a lump of wood) through the starter motor hole........turn it 90 degrees repeat the process....turn....hit....turn....hit and it will eventually come off. You may need a few coffees or beers between hits and turns. Have fun :)

Hooroo

Torque up the puller then pour boiling water over the flywheel near the centre.

Cheers, Ian

Also you can tighten the puller up and leave it sit for a day or so with tension on it , especially if it's sitting out in the sun and then cold night air .
