Anybody planning on heading out the airport to try to snap a picture of their mini with the new A380 in the background?

With the forecast northerly winds its expected to land coming in over Kurnell / Botany Bay. Unfortunately it's due to land at around 5:25pm, which means I'll probably miss it due to work.

Chop - Take the first left after the Airport tunnel and drive around into the car park that butts up against the runway - if it takes off to the north you should get a great shot as it taxis south.

Hanra - it happened today. 8)

Depends on what you call "lighty" I guess. Most things are compared to the 380. And you would be flying ....?????

On MS Flight Sim, I don't need any clearance. Everyone moves for me and my little cessna.

I know the spot you are talking about and have used it many times.
I have been unlucky and not been able to get out and see it. All the best laid plans just dont work. Dad in Hospital and got called out to Picton (of All places  ) this Morning.
Expecting a few of my Airline freinds to send me some pic's
