I have a 1275 small journal crank that has had the forged number ground off and 12G1392 stamped into it. Is also has EN16B forged onto it. Any ideas what this is out of and is it any good? Cheers Pete |

Sounds like a small journal 1100S crank but number is not on my book. If cross drilled it's early, if not it's late (just pre-big journal). It should be tufftrided- rub a file on the webs to check. ![]() ANY Oz small journal 1275 crank, cross drilled or not is a good-`un. Just crack test it. ![]() |

Yeh it is cross drilled. What does rubbing with a file do? Cheers Pete |

If you can't file it, it's tufftrided (hardened) same as MK2 S cranks. |

Cool, its tufftrided. Just have to save some cash now and take it to Spiro for a once over. Cheers Pete |
